We are pleased to say that North Ainley Halliwell is now a Member of the Lawyers for your Business Scheme operated by the Law Society.
Lawyers for your Business (LFYB) consists of around 1,000 firms of Solicitors throughout England and Wales offering particular specialist advice to small and medium-sized businesses. LFYB is supported by the Department for Business, Chamber of Commerce and the Federation of Small Businesses.
For smaller businesses in particular, there can be a reluctance to take legal advice, because of the perceived costs involved, until a major problem arises. By that time something which could have been easily solved may be harder and more costly to resolve.
We always recommend that clients get expert advice as soon as possible. As a LFYB Member we are happy to offer a free 30 minute consultation to assess your problem, outline the steps we can take to help and give you a clear idea of the costs of proceeding.
The areas of advice available include starting a business; employment issues; business tenancies; supplier and customer contracts; debt recovery and bank finance. Advice is also available concerning the changes being brought about by the Companies Act 2006, the last of which will come into effect on the 1 October 2009.
If this service is of interest to you please contact Val Stocker or any Member of our Commercial Department who will be pleased to help.
