My son divorced after a marriage lasting only a year. He still has contact with his daughters, but finds that they are known locally by his ex-wife’s maiden name and have been enrolled at the infant school in her name too.
There has been no court application about this. Is there anything he can do?

Our parents lived apart for many years, although they were not divorced. Of the three sons, one kept in touch with father while the other two kept in touch with mother.

My elderly mother and father own their house. They have always suggested that when they die the house will be divided between me and my two brothers. However in recent years they have signed as guarantors for loans my brothers have taken out for their business.

I work for a subsidiary of a multinational company. We were told that reorganisation was taking place, but our jobs were safe until next December. We’ve now been told that our office will close by September.
