As members of the Lawyers for your Business scheme operated by the Law Society, our lawyers provide particular specialist advice to small and medium sized businesses. We work closely with clients, getting to know their business, and delivering practical advice on a range of issues. The growth of your business is important to us.
The North Ainley Solicitors’ Commercial Team is headed by Val Stocker. The team are all qualified Solicitors, with many years of experience advising on business issues. Partner involvement does not end with the initial meeting as our Partners and senior staff will take matters through from instructions to completion. We aim to complete your commercial deal within your timescale and your budget.
Our Expertise
Getting the documentation right at the outset can save lots of headaches further down the line. We can handle the initial incorporation and ensure that the relationship between founding parties is recorded correctly.
Be it a sale of shares or a transfer of assets we can help with the main documentation and with ancillary paperwork, including stock transfers, Companies House forms, minutes and any service or consultancy agreements. Advice on joint ventures and management buy-outs is also available.
The funding for any transaction is essential. We offer advice on the security package required by your lender in the form of legal charges, debentures, facility agreements or personal guarantees.
Whether a business partnership is just beginning or the personnel of the partnership are changing we can advise of the documents required. We can also assist with the creation of Limited Liability Partnerships (LLPs) or with the dissolution of partnerships as appropriate.
Colleagues within the Commercial Litigation Department can advise on all aspects of Partnership disputes
We have extensive expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial leases for both Landlords and Tenants. We also handle rent deposit deeds, assignments, licences and Landlord & Tenant Act 1954 applications.
Our advice covers all types of commercial agreement including the drafting of agency and distribution agreements, franchise arrangements and terms and conditions.
